Modified version published 22 October 2008 replacing the version published on 11 June 2008
All getsignoff.com website users can view the public website, send enquiry emails to Headscape and submit an Account creation request form.
Getsignoff users who register for a free account are asked for information such as name, company name and email address.
Getsignoff users who register for a paid-for account are asked for information such as name, company name, email address, billing address and credit card or debit card information or PayPal account information.
Getsignoff account holders are able to send email invitations containing login details to specified email addresses. When account holders do this they must enter name and email address information, which is stored by Headscape, for invitation recipients. Login details provide invitees with access to design mock-ups and other information uploaded by the account holder.
Headscape also collects user survey information from time to time, aggregated information on the website usage activity of getsignoff users and the names and e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail.
Headscape uses collected information for the following general purposes: provision of services, billing, identification and authentication, service improvement, user support, contact and research.
Headscape transmits encrypted credit card and debit card information, via the Getsignoff webserver, to PayPal. Headscape does not store credit card or debit card information. PayPal stores credit card and debit card information in order to process recurring transactions.
Headscape stores the PayPal account email addresses of account holders who elect to pay using their PayPal account. Headscape does not store PayPal account passwords.
The information Headscape collects is not shared with other organisations or sold to other organisations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services users have specifically requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances.
It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
We may transfer information about you if Headscape or getsignoff is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Headscape will notify a user before information about that user is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
